Air Suspension
A suspension system using air springs instead of conventional coil or leaf springs.
Air suspension allows adjustable ride height and stiffness. Air bags replace metal springs, and a compressor adjusts pressure based on load or driving mode. Benefits include level loading (maintaining ride height regardless of cargo), adjustable ground clearance, and variable spring rates. Common in luxury vehicles and SUVs.
