Multi-link Suspension
A sophisticated suspension design using multiple arms to control wheel movement in multiple planes.
Multi-link suspensions typically use four or five separate arms per wheel, allowing engineers to precisely control camber, toe, and caster throughout the suspension travel. Common in rear suspensions, multi-link designs offer excellent ride quality and handling, though they are more complex and expensive than simpler designs like torsion beams.
